In a bid to scale up the quality of service delivery that our patients recieve, the clinic has undertaken various trainings for various departments within the establishment in the course of this year.

We have had a series of training sessions, some by facilitators within the clinic, and some others from external facilitators.

Installation of Retina Surgery Equipment

In February, the clinic took delivery of equipment that would enable us carry out various retina surgeries; they include retinal detachment…..

The equipments were installed and set up the same month, with the first surgeries scheduled to take off beginning from May 2019.

The Visit of the Provincial Superior, HHCJ (North-Western Province)

On the 5th of February, 2019, the Provincial Superior of the Handmaidens of the Holy Child Jesus (HHCJ), North-Western province paid a working visit to the clinic.

She used the opportunity of her visit to interact with members of staff, thanking them for their committment to work, reiterating the mission and vision of the hospital.

The Medical Director in giving an account of stewardship to the Provincial Superior announced that the clinic has procured equipment for use in retina-related surgeries.

She further mentioned that in the coming months, the clinic will begin to undertake retina surgeries, in fulfillment of its mission to render quality and affordable care services to all

The Provincial Superior took requests from members of staff, and responded appropriately.

Procurement of 33kV Transformer

The hospital concluded the process of procuring and installing a 33kV transformer to ensure that the hospital has uninterrupted power supply.

This is to ensure that our surgeries are carried out uninterrupted and that our patients enjoy maximum comfort during thier stay at the clinic.
